Team templates

  • Engineering: ticket to PR

A ticket becomes a reviewed pull request. A person approves it before merge.

    1. Read the ticket and the repository it points at.
    2. Open a pull request with the proposed change.
    3. Human review gate: a person approves the pull request before merge.
  • Support triage

Inbound issues are reproduced, severity-scored, and routed. A person approves the severity and the route before handoff.

    1. Reproduce the inbound issue.
    2. Score severity and propose a route.
    3. Human approval: a person approves the severity and the route before the issue is handed off.
  • Ops runbooks

Recurring operational procedures run to a checklist, with an approval gate before anything irreversible.

    1. Run the recurring procedure against its checklist.
    2. Stop before any irreversible step.
    3. Human approval gate: a person approves before anything irreversible runs.
  • Research and reporting

Recurring research is collected and written up on a schedule. A person approves the write-up before it is sent.

    1. Collect the recurring research on its schedule.
    2. Write up the findings.
    3. Human approval: a person approves the write-up before it is sent.

Tools the team works in

  • Slack — The team posts status and asks a person to approve in a Slack channel you already use.

  • GitHub — Engineering work is opened as a pull request. A person reviews it before merge.

  • Linear/Jira — Tickets are read, updated, and routed. A person approves before a ticket is closed.

  • Gmail/Google Workspace — The team drafts mail and docs in the workspace. A person sends or shares anything that leaves it.

  • Notion — Research and runbooks are written into pages you already keep. A person approves before a page is treated as the record.

  • Telegram — Alerts and approval requests are delivered in Telegram. A person confirms before an irreversible step.

How setup works

  1. 1

    Define roles

Name each agent role and the work it is allowed to do.

  2. 2

Put the work on a board

Track the workflow on a board the team and a person can both see.

  3. 3

    Set human approval gates

Mark the steps a person must approve before the team continues.

  4. 4

    Monitor and iterate

Watch the running team and change roles or gates when the workflow needs it.

FAQ

What is a team template?
A team template is a starting workflow: engineering (ticket to a reviewed pull request), support triage, ops runbooks, or research and reporting. Each one states where a person approves. It is not an autonomous system.
Which runtimes can a team use?
Hermes Agent, Paperclip, OpenClaw, Codex, and Claude Code.
Which tools does the team work in?
Slack, GitHub, Linear/Jira, Gmail/Google Workspace, Notion, and Telegram. A person approves before merge, before a ticket is closed, and before anything irreversible.
Where can the team run?
On our cloud (AgentPod), on your cloud, or on-prem. On-prem includes AMD servers and Mac mini servers.
What does an engagement cost?
A fixed-scope assessment is from $4,900. A managed retainer is from $6,000/month. Those are starting prices. Scope is set on the call.
How does a human stay in control?
Approval gates. A person approves a pull request before merge, approves severity and routing before handoff, approves a write-up before it is sent, and approves before anything irreversible runs.
